多くのガイドラインでエビデンスとコンセンサスに基づいて各種薬剤の評価がなされている．また，有効性と安全性のエビデンスおよびコンセンサスに基づいた薬効分類もなされている．

これまでに刊行されたガイドライン ^{１ )-8)} を参照し，本研究班のコンセンサスを加えて表１薬効別片頭痛予防薬の一覧，表２薬剤グループを示した．
